Start your first day by visiting Coakers Walk, a picturesque walkway overlooking the hill station. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains as you stroll through the clouds. There are several viewpoints along the way, including Telescope House where you can rent a telescope to get a closer look at the scenery.
Spend your day relaxing at Bryant Park, a botanical garden with over 700 varieties of flowers and plants. Take a leisurely stroll through the park, breathe in the fresh air, and admire the vibrant colours. You can also enjoy a picnic or rent a boat to paddle around the park's large pond. If you're visiting in May, don't miss the annual horticulture show, which showcases some of the park's best blooms.
On your last day, venture out to Berijam Lake, a pristine reservoir nestled in the hills. The lake is surrounded by dense forests and is a popular spot for boating, fishing, and bird watching. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of a bison or leopard in the nearby wildlife sanctuary. Keep in mind that you need a special permit to visit Berijam Lake, so plan ahead and apply for one at the forest office.
If you have more time, consider spending an extra day exploring Kodaikanal's many waterfalls, such as Bear Shola Falls or Silver Cascade Falls. Alternatively, if you have less time, you can skip Berijam Lake and instead visit Pillar Rocks, a scenic viewpoint with towering rock formations (30 minutes, 9.7 km from Coakers Walk).
