North Goa 4-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (13.8 km) from Goa International Airport

    Visit the well-preserved 17th century Portuguese fort, Fort Aguada. Stroll around the ramparts and enjoy panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. You can also explore the lighthouse located inside the fort premises. End the day at the nearby Sinquerim Beach.

  2. Day 2: Calangute Beach
    25 minutes (9.8 km) from Fort Aguada

    Enjoy a leisurely day sunbathing on the Calangute Beach, the largest beach in North Goa. Take a dip in the sea, rent a jet ski or enjoy a parasailing activity. End the day with a bustling market visit at the Tibetan Market and indulge in some street shopping.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Beach
    20 minutes (9.4 km) from Calangute Beach

    Visit the famous Anjuna Beach, known for its pristine sands, flea markets, and hippie culture. Rent a beach shack, savor some seafood, and relax with a drink in hand. In the evening, head to the vintage Portuguese villa, Casa Anjuna, for some authentic Goan cuisine and live music.

  4. Day 4: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (64.4 km) from Anjuna Beach

    Visit one of the tallest waterfalls in India, Dudhsagar Waterfalls, situated on the Mandovi River. Experience the scenic beauty of the falls, go for a swim and revel in the tranquility of the location. Visit the Spice Plantation afterward and learn about the cultivation and uses of a variety of spices.

Useful Tips

For an extended trip, add a day to explore Baga Beach and the Market, and book a history tour to explore some of the famous fortresses and mansions in the region. Alternatively subtract a day and visit the Club Cubana in Arpora for a night of partying.
