To visit, you'll need to get a special entry permit from the forest department, so plan this in advance. After a peaceful morning spent by the lake, head over to Pillar Rocks, a set of three massive vertical pillars that rise up from the ground. These rocks offer a scenic viewpoint of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Start the day by visiting Vattakanal, a small village located on the outskirts of Kodaikanal.
