Start your trip by driving to Talacauvery, the birthplace of the Cauvery river. The site has religious significance, with a temple and a small pond to take a dip in. From there, head to Bhagamandala, where the Cauvery meets the Kannika and Sujyoti rivers. Visit the Bhagandeshwara Temple and take a boat ride in the Triveni Sangama.
Head to Abbey Falls, a picturesque waterfall tucked away in a coffee and spice plantation. Enjoy the cool spray of water and the greenery surrounding it. Later, head to the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can watch and interact with elephants. You can also take a coracle ride in the Cauvery.
If you have extra time, you can visit the Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe or the Iruppu Falls in the Brahmagiri hill range. If you have less time, you can skip the Dubare Elephant Camp or the Bhagamandala temple. Make sure to carry mosquito repellent and wear comfortable shoes for the visits to the falls and the elephant camp.
