Delhi is a vast city, and three days might not be enough to see everything on this itinerary. If you have more time, you can add the following:

  • Akshardham temple (half-day) is a beautiful Hindu temple that beautifully showcases Indian culture.
  • The Lotus temple (1-2 hours) built-in 1986 is shaped like a Lotus and belongs to the Bahai Faith.
  • Connaught Place (3-4 hours) is the central hub for shopping flea markets and spices and clothes.
  • For those interested in learning about Indian culture, music, and history, the National Museum and National Gallery of Modern Art are worth a visit.

If you have less time, you can skip the National Museum to opt for better use of your precious vacation hours. But do consider a visit to one of the world's largest mosques, Jama Masjid, where you can even offer Namaz.
