Family Fun in Stockholm

    Skansen Museum, located on Royal Djurgården, is a great place to start your day in Stockholm. Open all year round, the museum showcases Swedish history, architecture, and culture. Visitors can enjoy different activities, such as zoo animals, Nordic animals, cultural events, theatre performances and concerts.

  2. 12:00PM: Junibacken Museum
    5 minutes (0.3 miles) from Skansen

    JuniBacken is dedicated to children's literature and is a fascinating place for both kids and adults. Visitors can take a ride on the Story Train and travel through the magical world of Astrid Lindgren, a Swedish children's author. You can also visit the interactive exhibitions and get involved in the craft-making sections.

  3. 2:00PM: Vasa Museum
    20 minutes (2.3 miles) from Junibacken Museum

    The Vasa Museum displays the only almost fully intact 17th century warship to have ever been salvaged, with more than 95% original material. The highlight of the museum, the ship, sank near the Stockholm harbor before it left the little, and its preservation day is fascinating.

  4. 4:00PM: Djurgården Island
    10 minutes (1 mile) from Vasa Museum

    Djurgården Island is a green oasis one of Stockholm's favorite family-destinations, with lots of parks, gardens and green open spaces to enjoy. Visit the amusement park Gröna Lund with its high-elevation roller coaster or the giant Sky View gondola to see the beautiful Stockholm city center. Located on Djurgården Island are many museums and attractions, or have an afternoon picnic by the water!
