The lavish Mysore Palace is a perfect start to the party weekend. This palatial complex combines Hindu, Mughal, Rajput, and Gothic architectural features and was the residence of the royal family of Mysore until 1950. After taking a stroll through the palace, stop by the gift shop to purchase some souvenirs.
End the Bachelor Party with a bang at the Brindavan Gardens, a picturesque garden located just a short drive outside of Mysore. Built alongside the Krishnarajasagara Dam, the gardens provide beautiful landscaping, water fountains, and a musical fountain show. Be sure to catch the show that occurs in the evening, as it's brilliantly synchronized with music and lights, such an incredible experience!
If you have more time in Mysore, consider adding the Mysuru Zoo to your itinerary (make sure to check their closing times to ensure it's open). If you have less time or want to switch things up, head to the Folklore Museum or Art Gallery instead. Additionally, if you're feeling adventurous, consider joining a local paint and sip event or signing up for a cooking class to learn how to make authentic Indian cuisine.
