Visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history and cultivation of tea in Munnar. Take a guided tour to understand the tea-making process from plucking to packaging. Then, drive down to the picturesque Mattupetty Dam situated in the hills. You can enjoy a boat ride on the dam or indulge in some speed boating to get a spectacular view of the surroundings. After this, take a break for lunch at the Rapsy Restaurant, which offers a variety of local and international dishes.
Start your day early and drive to Top Station, which is the highest point in Munnar and offers stunning views of the Western Ghats. You can capture some beautiful shots of the valleys and hills that stretch out to the horizon. Make your way back to town and stop at the Photo Point, which is a popular spot to click some Instagram-worthy pictures. End your day with a relaxing massage at the Greenleaf Ayurveda Spa.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Eravikulam National Park which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. You can also visit the Blossom Park which is a serene park with a variety of flowers. If you have less time, you can skip the boat ride at Mattupetty Dam and head straight to lunch.
