2-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for South Goa

  1. Day 1: Palolem Beach
1 hour (25.4 km) from Dabolim Airport

Palolem Beach is known for its pristine waters, white sand, and dense coconut palms. Take a leisurely walk along the shore and dip in the calm Arabian sea. Bring a picnic and spend the day sunbathing, enjoying refreshments, kayaking, and taking a boat ride. There are many shacks along the beach that serve traditional Goan cuisine. If you're lucky, you might spot a pod of dolphins.

Dudhsagar Falls, one of India's tallest waterfalls, is nestled amidst the dense jungle of the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. The waterfall, which appears like a sea of milk, is at its spectacular best during monsoon season when it is in full flow. Soak in the picturesque views, take a refreshing shower in the natural pool, and hike around to appreciate the lush surroundings. If you have more time, visit the Tambdi Surla Temple, a 12th-century Shaivite temple nearby.
