Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad district, and trekking to the top will take visitors through hills and valleys spread across acres of lush forest where visitors can experience the beauty of nature. The trek to the top of Chembra Peak will reward visitors with a panoramic view of the entire district.
If visitors have more time, they should add Edakkal Caves to their itinerary. The Edakkal Caves are ancient rock shelters situated on top of Ambukutty Mala, with carvings dating back to the Neolithic era. If they have less time, they can skip Chembra Peak. Due to the steep climb, it is not suitable for small children or elderly visitors.
