Start your trip with a serene visit to the Aga Khan Palace. Walk around the lush gardens and water fountains or head over to the Gandhi National Memorial and pay your respects. The palace also exhibits a museum with Indian independence movement artifacts.
Visit the Shaniwar Wada Palace and explore its rich history through the massive fortified walls and intricate carvings and paintings. Move on to the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, which houses over 20,000 Indian artifacts and displays ethnic craftsmanship and artistry.
Take the last day to relax and rejuvenate at the Osho Ashram. Participate in meditation sessions, explore the lush grounds or take a dip in the Olympic-sized swimming pool. Alternatively, visit the Katraj Snake Park and learn about different species of snakes and reptiles, and if you're feeling brave, take a photo with a snake around your neck!
If you have more time, consider a day trip to the nearby Ajanta and Ellora caves, which are over 2000 years old and depict the ancient Indian culture through paintings and carvings. With less time, remove the visit to Osho Ashram and try local street food at places like Vohuman Café or Kalyani Bakery.
