Anamudi Peak is the highest point in South India, and a trek here provides a unique adventure opportunity. The trek path takes you through lush green forests along with a variety of flora and fauna. You might catch a glimpse of some of the area's endangered species as well. Once you reach the summit, the panoramic views of Munnar will leave you awestruck. The trek takes around 5-7 hours, so plan accordingly.
For a thrilling adrenaline rush, head to the Fun Forest Adventure Park for a zipline experience. The park is surrounded by tea plantations, providing stunning views as you zip through the sky. There are multiple zipline courses, each with varying levels of difficulty. Even beginners can join in the fun. The park also offers other adventure activities like rope walking and archery. Spend at least a couple of hours here.
If you have extra time, you can add a visit to the Eravikulam National Park, which is nearby Anamudi Peak. The park is home to several rare and endangered species like the Nilgiri Tahr. You can also explore some of the tea plantations in the area. If you have less time, you can skip the trek to Anamudi Peak and spend a whole day at the Fun Forest Adventure Park.
