Start your first day in Munnar by visiting the Tea Museum, where you can learn about the history and tea cultivation process in the region. Then, head over to the beautiful Mattupetty Dam where you can take a leisurely walk and enjoy mesmerizing views of the lake and surrounding hills.
Start the day early and head to the Eravikulam National Park famous for its endangered Nilgiri Tahr and stunning flora. After exploring the park, visit the scenic Echo Point where you can hear your voice resonate through the hills and take in the serene beauty of the lake and mountains.
Take an early morning drive to Top Station, a breathtaking viewpoint located at an altitude of 1700 meters, best known for its panoramic views of the Western Ghats. After the trek, head to the Attukad Waterfalls, a serene and photogenic waterfall which is also perfect for a refreshing dip.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Tata Tea Plantation or hiking up to Lakkam Waterfalls. If you have less time, you can choose to skip the Attukad Waterfalls or consolidate Day 2 and 3 into one day, although it will be a bit hectic. Don't forget to carry sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and comfortable walking shoes when exploring the region.
