Tyda Park is located amidst the Eastern Ghats. The park offers long nature walks and trekking trails through the jungle. Tourists can also indulge in bird watching, camping or simply relax at the eco-cottages inside the park. The park has a tribal museum showcasing the tribal culture and lifestyle.
Ananthagiri Hills is nestled amidst dense forests and tea plantations. The hill offers a panoramic view of the valley below. The area is acclaimed for coffee, pepper, and indigenous herbs. The Ananthagiri Hills also house a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, which is popular for its scenic surroundings.
If you have an extra day, you can add a visit to Katiki Waterfalls and enjoy a dip in the cold mountain water. For a relaxing evening, add a visit to Araku Tribal Museum to learn about the indigenous tribes and their culture. If you have lesser time, you can skip Tyda Park or Ananthagiri Hills and spend an extra day at Chaparai Water Cascade or Borra Caves.
