  1. Day 1: Chembra Peak

    Embark on a trek to the Chembra Peak, the highest point in Wayanad. This challenging trek takes about 3 to 4 hours, and the views from the top make all the effort worth it. Keep an eye out for the heart-shaped Chembra Lake on the trek. Don't forget to obtain permission from the Meppadi Forest Department before you start your trek.

  2. Day 2: Kuruva Island
    1 hour 10 minutes (27.5 km) from Kalpetta

    Experience the natural beauty of Kuruva Island, a serene river delta and uninhabited island. Take a guided trek through the island to enjoy bird watching, elephant spotting, and serene views of the river and islets. The island is open to tourists between 9:30 AM and 3:30 pm, so plan accordingly. You can also enjoy a peaceful bamboo rafting experience in the slow-moving waters of the Kabini River. Some areas of the island may be closed due to environmental protection measures.
