One of Coorg’s most picturesque waterfalls, the Abbey Falls is a must-visit for nature lovers. Take a short walk through a spice plantation to reach the falls and soak in the sound and spray of the cascading water.
Located on the border of Karnataka and Kerala, the Iruppu Falls is a scenic waterfall and pilgrimage site with a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Combine the visit with a trek through the neighboring Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, home to elephants, tigers, and other fauna.
Embark on a thrilling jeep safari through the Nagarhole National Park, a tiger reserve that boasts of a rich biodiversity of mammals, birds, and reptiles. Spot herds of elephants, deer, and bison, and if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of the elusive big cat.
Explore the enchanting Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the Western Ghats. Trek through the lush forests and hills, with a chance to spot endangered species like the Nilgiri Tahr and Lion-tailed Macaque. The sanctuary also has an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Kumara Swamy.

If you have more time, consider adding a visit to the coffee plantations, the Gaddige Raja's Tomb, or the Namdroling Monastery. If you have less time, skip the Iruppu Falls and the Pushpagiri Sanctuary and opt for a shorter trek or a visit to Madikeri town instead.
