The Salar Jung Museum is the third largest museum in India, with art and artifacts from all over the world. The museum has something for everyone, with exhibits on art, textiles, weapons, and more. The beautiful building and gardens also make it a great place to take a stroll and relax. As a volunteer, you can help with conservation efforts and learn about the collection firsthand.
The Nehru Zoological Park is a must-visit for animal lovers. With over 250 species of animals, including tigers, lions, and elephants, there is plenty to see and learn about. As a volunteer, you can help with animal care and even participate in animal shows. The park also has a butterfly park and aquarium.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Golconda Fort or the Charminar. If you have less time, skip the Nehru Zoological Park and instead visit the Birla Mandir temple or the Qutb Shahi Tombs. Remember to check opening and closing times for all locations and plan your route accordingly.
