Rise early and travel to Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a diverse range of species like tigers, leopards and Indian elephants. Take the Jungle Safari through the sanctuary and prepare to be amazed by the beautiful flora and fauna. In their cafeteria, You can have South Indian food for lunch.
Head out to Kodanad Viewpoint to get a majestic view of the Moyar River and forests from a height of about 6200 Feet. Experience the thrill by trekking up to the viewpoint by walking through winding roads.
End your trip by reaching Doddabetta, the highest peak in the Nilgiris. Panoramic views of the valleys and tea estates. You can also enjoy some tea and pastries at the height of 2625 meters on the top of the peak; any adventure and nature enthusiasts will be awed.
If you have more time, add a visit to the tea museum at Tea Park. If you have less time, you can skip Kodanad viewpoint. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and clothing for hiking, and make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the treks, to avoid dehydration.
