Palolem Beach, located on the southern tip of Goa, is one of the most picturesque beaches in the state. It has a crescent-shaped coastline that is surrounded by swaying palm trees and offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing and water sports such as jet-skiing and parasailing. There are plenty of beach shacks along the coast that serve fresh seafood and cocktails. In the evening, one can relax and unwind with a relaxing yoga session or a sunset boat ride.
Dudhsagar Falls, located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Goa. This majestic waterfall stands at 310 meters and forms a milky white pool at the bottom, which is great for swimming. Visitors can take a guided trek through the forest to get to the falls or take a thrilling jeep safari ride. The falls are at their best during the monsoon season when it gushes down in full force but they are also open during the dry season, albeit with a gentler flow.
If you have more time, you may want to visit Old Goa and explore its rich history and architecture. Alternatively, you can spend a day at the Sahakari Spice Farm and learn about indigenous herbs and spices grown in Goa. If you have less time, you may want to skip Dudhsagar Falls and spend the second day exploring the scenic beauty of the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary or the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary.
