2-Day Itinerary for Ooty

1. Day 1: Tea Plantations
   20 minutes (6 miles) from Ooty town center

   Start your day by visiting the Doddabetta Tea Factory and Museum where you will experience the process of tea making from leaf picking to packaging. Enjoy a walk through the Doddabetta Tea Park with views of the stunning Nilgiri Mountains. Next, head to the Sim's Park to see a variety of plant species including aromatic spices like cardamom and cloves.

2. Day 2: Nilgiri Mountain Railway
   15 minutes (4 miles) from Ooty town center

   Take a ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway - a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers breathtaking views of the Nilgiri Mountains, forests, and waterfalls. Hop off at Coonoor, and visit the stunning Dolphin's Nose Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the Nilgiris. Next, visit the Sim's Park which has stunning botanical gardens. On your way back, visit the famous Ooty Lake for a peaceful boat ride.
