3-Day Nature Itinerary: Mysore

  1. Day 1: Chamundi Hill
    20 minutes (7.5 km) from Mysore Palace

    Climb up 1000 stairs to reach the Sri Chamundeshwari Temple and catch a breathtaking view of the Mysore city. You can also visit the Nandi Statue and see the famous Chamundi Hill Bull.

  2. Day 2: Brindavan Gardens
    30 minutes (18 km) from Chamundi Hill

    Spread across 60 acres, Brindavan Gardens is a stunning garden located near the Krishna Raja Sagara Dam. It is a symmetrical garden that has beautiful fountains, sculptures, and botanical gardens. If you come in the evening, the colorful fountain show is a must-see.

  3. Day 3: Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary
    1 hour 30 minutes (20 km) from Brindavan Gardens

    Home to various bird species including painted storks, common spoonbills, and kingfishers, the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is a treat for nature lovers. You can take a boat ride and watch the birds, crocodiles, and otters in their natural habitat.
