Hillington is a cozy restaurant serving vegetarian South Indian cuisine. The ambience is rustic and charming with wooden tables, chairs, and benches. Their specialty is Dosa, which is a crispy Indian pancake stuffed with vegetables and served with chutney and sambar. The restaurant also serves fresh juices, tea and coffee, perfect for a mid-day pick up.
Visit the Bear Shola Falls, a small yet gorgeous waterfall hidden in the forest. The falls got its name because it is said that bears used to visit the falls to quench their thirst during the summer. The water cascades down from a height of about 40 feet into a small pool where you can take a refreshing dip or sit by the side of the pool enjoying the serene surroundings.
End your day with a visit to Berijam Lake, a gorgeous lake surrounded by lush green hills. This lake is protected by the forest department and is open to the public only during certain days of the week and with prior permission. Therefore, check before you head out to avoid disappointment.
