Start your family trip to Hyderabad by visiting the historic Charminar. It's an elegant monument and stands boldly amidst the bustling Laad Bazaar. You can buy some beautiful traditional jewellery, clothes, and delicious street food. Head over to the Nizam Museum next, located just 3 km away, which has an impressive collection of artefacts from Nizam’s reign. You can learn about the history of Hyderabad, through some fascinating stories and historical exhibits.
On the second day, start by visiting Golconda Fort, where you can trek up to the Bala Hissar, an exquisitely designed garden. The acoustics of the Place here are also a considerable tourist attraction. The Qutub Shahi Tombs, located 8 km away, are yet another impressive spectacle that reflects the heritage of the Qutub Shahi dynasty. Here, you can admire the beautiful tombs, lawns, and arches.
Start the last day by visiting the huge 1666 acres Ranmoji Film City, a unique amusement park that brings the magic world of cinema alive. The park has lavish film sets, architecture and settings replicating ancient civilizations. End the trip with a visit to the Hussain Sagar Lake before taking the flight back. Boat rides, some delicious food served during, spectacular sunsets and the towering Buddha statue make it a cherished experience.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Salar Jung Museum or go on a food tour to taste the famous Hyderabadi biryani. For those with less time, you can skip the Qutub Shahi Tombs or Hussain Sagar Lake. Make sure to visit these places only in the mornings or evenings during summer as temperatures can soar.
