Start your relaxation journey at Triveni Ghat, a spiritual bathing spot at the convergence of three holy rivers. Take a dip in the water and watch the evening aarti, a Hindu ritual where lamps are lit and offered to the deities. You can also visit the nearby market for some souvenirs.
This spiritual ashram was famously visited by the Beatles in 1968 and is now a relaxing and peaceful area that's perfect for recouping from stress. Explore the colorful wall art and take a meditation session in one of the ashram’s quiet rooms.
End your trip with a visit to the Neer Garh Waterfall, a hidden gem located in the Rajaji National Park. You have to take a short hike to reach the waterfall, but once you arrive you can swim in the refreshing water and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the rocks and relax in the tranquillity.
If you have extra time, consider visiting the famous Laxman Jhula Bridge or trying yoga and meditation classes in the many centers across Rishikesh. For a shorter itinerary, you can remove the visit to Triveni Ghat or Beatles Ashram, but we recommend not removing Neer Garh Waterfall, as it's a highlight of the city.
