Ooty Lake is an artificial lake and an essential part of tourism in Ooty, developed by John Sullivan in 1824. The lake spans for 2.5 km and allows you to surround yourself with serene landscapes and plenty of recreational activities, like boating, fishing, and horse riding.
Doddabetta Peak, standing at 2,623 meters above sea level, is the highest peak in the Nilgiri Mountain Range. Thread Garden is a unique and surreal garden where every piece of flower or plant is made from thread. Each of the 150+ artworks is handcrafted by over 50 skilled and unemployed women to preserve an ancient tradition and showcase art. The garden is inside the gorgeous Ooty Government Museum.
