The fountain show is a must-see and timings usually vary between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Chamundeshwari Temple is a 12th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari, situated atop the Chamundi hills. The temple has a rich history and architecture. After visiting the temple, head to the St. Philomena's Church, a beautiful cathedral that has neo-gothic architecture. Take another day to explore the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, also known as the Mysore Zoo. Spread over 157 acres, the zoo has a vast collection of animals, birds, and reptiles. After the zoo visit, take a stroll around the Karanji Lake and experience the tranquility amidst the city. The lake has facilities for boating and a butterfly park with different species of butterflies.
If you have more time, you can add the Railway Museum, the Jaganmohan Palace, and the Melukote temple to your itinerary. If you have less time, you can skip visited places and spend more time at the remaining attractions. Since most attractions are closed by 6 PM, plan your visits accordingly and allocate more time for exploring the places of your interest.
