Start your adventure at the Saputara Lake, a man-made lake with serene surroundings. Rent out a paddleboat and spend an hour on the water, soaking in the views. Take a stroll in the lake garden and indulge in some street food from local vendors.
Get a bird's eye view of the Western Ghats from the Saputara Ropeway, which takes you to the Gandhi Shikhar viewpoint. Trek back to Saputara through the dense Saputara Forest, which has a variety of flora and fauna. Have lunch at one of the restaurants near the lake before moving to the next stop.
Embark on a trek to the Hatgadh Fort, which offers a panoramic view of the entire city. Be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and carry water and snacks. Post-trek, head to the Pandava Caves which has historic and mythological significance. Here, you can visit various chambers and admire the intricate rock formations.
If you have an extra day, consider adding the Sunrise Point for a beautiful sunrise view and Gira Waterfall for some relaxing time amidst the picturesque waterfall. If you have less time, we suggest skipping the Hatgadh Fort Trek but don't forget to add the Hatgad Village and the Saputara Tribal Museum for a cultural experience.
