  1. Day 1: KRS Dam and Brindavan Gardens
    30 minutes (17.2 km) from Mysore Palace

    Start your day off by visiting the KRS Dam, completed in 1931 and named after Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. This large masonry dam is located on the Kaveri River and serves as a source of irrigation for nearby districts. After the dam, head to the Brindavan Gardens, located adjacent to the dam and spread over 60 acres. This beautiful garden boasts of a variety of plants, a musical fountain, and an illuminated fountain show in the evening which is a must-see.

  2. Day 2: Chamundi Hill and Mysore Zoo
    20 minutes (9.7 km) from Brindavan Gardens

    Start your day early with a trek to the top of Chamundi Hill, located 13 km from Mysore City. This hill is famous for the Chamundeshwari Temple which is dedicated to the goddess Chamundeshwari, an incarnation of Goddess Parvathi. You can also explore the statue of Mahishasura and the Nandi Statue while you're here. After the hill, make your way to Mysore Zoo which is home to a variety of Indian and African animals. Some of the main attractions include the Giraffe, African Elephant, and the white tiger.
