Gokarna - A 5-Day Nature Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Visit Paradise Beach

    Yana Caves are a fascinating geological formation nestled in the Sahyadri mountain range. It comprises two huge black limestone formations, Mohini Shikhara and Bhairaveshwara Shikhara, surrounded by dense forests and streams, making it a great place for trekkers.

  3. Day 3: Go to Mirjan Fort

    The 16th-century Mirjan Fort offers a glimpse into the region's rich history with its strategically placed bastions and citadels surrounded by a moat. The inside of the fort is overgrown, but you can still see the remnants of beautiful carved stone doorways and the ancient palace.

  4. Day 4: Visit Gokarna Beach
    50 minutes (25 km) from Mirjan Fort

    Gokarna Beach is a popular and scenic destination, attracting throngs of tourists for worship or yoga. The beach has a bohemian vibe with cafes, restaurants and shops, offering great vistas of the Arabian Sea and an ideal place for nature and ocean lovers.

  5. Day 5: Trek to Kumta Beach
    1 hour 30 minutes (45 km) from Gokarna Beach

    Kumta Beach is a secluded expanse of sand and surf with a picture-perfect landscape and dense vegetation. The trek to reach the beach is an adventure through dense forests, cliff faces and passing by serene fresh water streams.
