Getting around Berlin is easy with its extensive public transportation network. The city has trains, buses, and trams that run frequently throughout the day. A day ticket for all zones costs €8.90, while a single journey costs €2.90. Taxis are also readily available, but can be expensive.
If you have more time, consider taking a day trip to Potsdam to visit the beautiful Sanssouci Palace. For a unique dining experience, visit the rotating TV Tower restaurant. If you have less time, consider skipping Tierpark Berlin or reducing the time spent at the museums on Museum Island.
There are two airports in Berlin: Tegel Airport (TXL) and Schönefeld Airport (SXF). Tegel is closer to the city center (8km), while Schönefeld is further away (23km). Both airports are easily accessible by public transportation.
