4-Day Adventure Itinerary for Coorg in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Trek to Tadiandamol Peak
    1.5 hours (22 miles) from Coorg Town

    Begin your adventure with a trek to the Tadiandamol Peak, the highest peak in Coorg at an elevation of 1748m, it’s a two-hour trek. The scenic trail through the Coorg Wildlife Sanctuary’s lush forests and wildflowers is worth the effort. The view of the rolling hills and the misty valleys from the top is a sight to behold. Carry sufficient water and snacks for the trail. Spend the evening exploring the nearby small villages and trying out the local cuisine.

  2. Day 2: River Rafting in Barapole
    1.5 hours (30 miles) from Tadiandamol Peak

    Feed your adrenaline with some river rafting experience in Barapole river. You’ll come across rapids that range up to grade IV and paddle through beautiful surroundings. Post rafting set out on a small afternoon trek to Chelavara Falls, and take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of the falls. You’ll make it back to your hotel/cottage for dinner.

    Get ready to have an elephantastic day at the Dubare Elephant Camp, situated on the banks of River Cauvery. There’s a lot of history and culture to soak up as well. End your day with a Jeep Safari at the Nagarhole National Park or Coorg Wildlife Sanctuary.

  4. Day 4: Explore Abbey Falls
    1 hour (20 miles) from Dubare Elephant Camp

    Begin your day with a relaxing stroll through the coffee and spice plantations. Make your way to the scenic Abbey Falls, the waterfalls cascade down from a height of about 70 feet amidst the sprawling coffee gardens. Head towards Raja's Seat in the evening, a garden with a mesmerizing view of the sunset and the valleys below. End your day with some shopping and trying out the various kinds of teas and spices Coorg has to offer.
