Start your Bachelor party with a scenic trek to the top of Chokramudy hill for a panoramic view of Munnar's tea plantations. The challenging 2-hour hike is worth it as you'll be marvelling at the picturesque scenery. The hike is slightly demanding, so comfortable trek shoes and a flexible body will be helpful. You'll have refreshing water and a packed lunch on the way. Try to avoid carrying alcohol during the trek, but you can enjoy it later in your accommodation.
Start Day 2 with a 3:30 am jeep ride to the top of Kolukkumalai hill to enjoy the beautiful sunrise while sipping fresh tea made from the world's highest organic tea plantation. It will be cold, so bring a warm jacket or shawl, and please don't litter the Hill. After the tour, head back to Munnar town for breakfast, shower and rejuvenate at your resort. In the evening, enjoy a night of karaoke and partying at a local nightclub like "Cloud 9" or "Illusion."
End your trip with an authentic Kalaripayattu, the martial art form of Kerala, which has dating millenniums-old roots. Before the energetic show, you will have a chance to visit the onsite-museum to get a brief history of the art form. The show takes about 1 hour, which includes various forms of combats, weaponfights, solo performances, and body control. You could also learn some basic moves from the trainers on site. After the session, head back to Munnar town to collect your luggage and say Adios to your friends.
If you have more time, some additional activities include a visit to Eravikulam National Park, tea-tasting at a plantation, visiting the Mattupetty Dam and boating, nature walks at the Tea Museum and Rose Garden. If there is less time, you could skip the Sunrise tour, shorten the Chokramudy Trek, or visit the Tea Museum instead of the Kalaripayattu show.
