Start your first day by visiting the Anjuna Beach. With its calm sea and swaying palm trees, it’s a perfect place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Try some traditional Goan seafood at any of the shacks lined up along the beach and enjoy the music played by local bands. After a day spent unwinding by the beach, head out to Tuesday Market, where vendors sell everything from jewellery and spices to clothes and souvenirs.
On your second day, get energised with a trip to the Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach, which is a perfect mixture of history and nature. The oldest fort in Goa, Fort Aguada was built in 1612 to protect Goa from foreign invasions. The fort offers beautiful views of the Arabian Sea and is a popular place to watch the sunset. After visiting Fort Aguada, head down to the nearby Sinquerim Beach to relax by the shore and enjoy some delicious seafood.
Chapora Fort and Vagator Beach are the perfect places to end your trip on a high note. Start your day by exploring the ancient Chapora Fort, which dates back to the 16th century and offers stunning views of the coast. After having a picnic at the fort, head down to Vagator Beach, one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in North Goa. The white sandy beach is surrounded by towering coconut trees and is home to several outstanding bars and restaurants.
If you have extra time, you can head over to Candolim Beach or Baga Beach to enjoy some water sports or visit nearby Calangute Beach and take a dip in the sea. For those interested in wildlife, visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary to get a glimpse of the beautiful species of birds native to the region. If time is limited, skip visiting Tuesday Market and instead utilize the extra time for lounging on the beaches.
