Get ready for an exciting trek through the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. There are multiple trails to choose from depending upon your fitness levels and interests. You'll get a chance to spot various wildlife species such as Indian bison, elephants, tigers and panthers. Apart from the animals, the sanctuary is also home to numerous bird and butterfly species. Pack your lunch for a break amidst the serene surroundings - a perfect reward after a strenuous trek.
Your final day in Coorg must include a visit to the mesmerizing Abbey Falls. Surrounded by coffee bushes and spice estates, the waterfall creates a magical misty atmosphere. The water cascades down from a height of around 70 feet making it a perfect spot for photography. You can also trek to a viewpoint for a more spectacular view of the falls. End your day exploring the quaint local shops, enjoying traditional cuisine and pack some coffee beans to take back home.
