Start your day by experiencing the lush green tea plantations of Munnar. Grab breakfast on the way and enjoy the views as you head to TATA Tea Museum, located a short distance from the city centre, to learn about India’s tea industry. After the museum, drive to the Eravikulam National Park, home of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Make sure to visit the Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in south India. In the evening, head to Rose Garden to see a variegated collection of roses and other flowers in full bloom, a visual treat for garden enthusiasts.
Start your day by exploring the scenic Attukal Waterfall, located on the outskirts of Munnar. A 2km steep trek from the waterfall leads to the top of the hill that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. After the trek, head to the Pothamedu ViewPoint to enjoy the panoramic view of mountain ranges and sprawling tea estates. In the afternoon, head to Mattupetty Dam and Lake for a leisurely boat ride in the peaceful waters. On the way back, head to Chinnakanal Waterfall located in a quiet, scenic spot for an evening walk.
