The Vasa Museum displays the only almost fully intact 17th-century warship. It was built for Sweden's Navy but sank on her maiden voyage in 1628 and was salvaged in 1961. With ten exhibitions, Vasa Museum tells the whole story of the ship from its construction to its salvage. Visitors can admire the ship from six levels, go inside the ship and see exhibitions with objects found on board the ship.

If you have less time, consider skipping the Abba Museum and instead visit the Nordic Museum, which is one of Sweden's largest and oldest cultural history museums. It boasts exhibitions on fashion, textiles, and traditions from the 16th century to today.
