At an altitude of 2,623 meters, you'll be amazed by the panoramic views of the entire mountain range from the top. There's also a Telescope House, where you can get a closer view of the surrounding landscape. The drive to this place also includes a stop at Pine forest, a serene place to take a romantic stroll, admiring the beautiful scenic view of pine and tea plantations.
A romantic boat ride in the scenic Ooty Lake is a must-do activity. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and hills and is a popular spot for couples. You can take a pedal boat ride or motorboat, for a slightly more exhilarating experience. The Boat house here offers boating activities but you need to book the tickets in advance due to high demand in peak seasons.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Tea Factory, and enjoy some tea picking activities in one of the many tea estates in Ooty. Alternatively, you can visit the Pykara waterfalls or the Botanical Garden for some outdoor fun.
