The fountain is illuminated with colourful lights making it picturesque and magnificent - the perfect setting to spend a romantic evening with your companion. The garden is spread over a large area and is an ideal location for a picnic.

    30 minutes (13 km) from Brindavan Gardens

    A steep climb to the top of Chamundi hill rewards you with a breathtaking panoramic view of Mysore city. At the top, you can visit the beautiful ancient Chamundeshwari temple which is believed to be more than 800 years old. The temple architecture stands out with its intricate carvings and Dravidian-style towers. As it is one of the most visited attractions in Mysore, expect to spend some time in the queue especially during weekends and holidays.

  4. Day 2: St. Philomena's Church
    25 minutes (8 km) from Chamundi Hill

    The St. Philomena's Church is a neo-gothic style architecture and showcases stunning stained-glass windows. It is one of the oldest churches in India and is approximately 200 years old. The church is dedicated to St. Philomena, a catholic saint and martyr who was killed at the age of 13. Visitors can spend an hour or so here exploring and admiring the beauty of this heritage structure.
