Kodaikanal Bachelor Party Itinerary - June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kodaikanal Lake
    10 minutes (2.6 km) from Kodaikanal Bus Stand

    Kodaikanal Lake is a beautiful man-made lake that spans across 60 acres and is the central attraction of Kodaikanal. You can hire pedal boats, rowboats and bicycles here and enjoy the scenic view of the lake. There are also several shops near the lake where you can purchase souvenirs. After enjoying the beauty of the lake, head over to the nearby Bryant Park, which is spread across 20 acres of land and home to several varieties of flowers and plants.

  2. Day 2: Coaker's Walk and Green Valley View
    15 minutes (4.6 km) from Kodaikanal Lake

    Start your day early with a hike along the picturesque Coaker's Walk, a 1-km long pedestrian path made in 1872 that provides a stunning panoramic view of the valley. From there, head over to the nearby Green Valley View, also known as Suicide Point, for a breathtaking bird's eye view of the valley. These are perfect spots for taking pictures with your mates.

  3. Day 3: Silent Valley View and Pine Forest
    30 minutes (9.8 km) from Green Valley View

    Take a scenic drive to Silent Valley View, a serene and peaceful place where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the valley and the hills. From there, head over to the enchanting Pine Forest, a beautiful forest filled with pine trees along the road from Kodaikanal to Mannavanur. You can take a walk through the woods with your mates or go cycling or horse riding.

Useful tips

If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Pillar Rocks, a set of three huge rocks that stand vertically shoulder to shoulder and provide a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
If you have less time, you can skip the Silent Valley View and head straight to the Pine Forest for a leisurely stroll.
Make sure to carry enough water and snacks as some places may not have facilities available.
