Spend the afternoon exploring the Government Botanical Garden, which is home to over a thousand varieties of plants, trees, and flowers.
Start the day off with a visit to Pykara Lake, a scenic spot that's perfect for boating, hiking and picnics. Visit Pykara Waterfalls which is just a short drive away from the lake. The waterfall is a mesmerizing sight to behold with water cascading down the rocky terrain in a number of drops. End the day with a visit to the iconic Ooty Lake. Take a boat ride or enjoy a leisure walk alongside the serene lake while enjoying the stunning landscapes of the Nilgiris.
Start the final day of the trip with a visit to the Needle Rock Viewpoint to see the Challangudi and Kambam valleys merge. After taking in the view, make your way to the Centenary Rose Garden with thousands of rose bushes in vibrant colours and different varieties, the garden offers an enchanting sight. Enjoy a relaxing morning tea with a backdrop of scenic Ooty at the Tea Lounge before winding down the day with some shopping at the local markets.
If you have extra time, consider adding a visit to the St. Stephen's Church, a beautiful colonial-era church, or a visit to Mukurthi National Park, a biosphere reserve situated in the southern corner of the Nilgiris. If you have less time, consider removing the visit to the Tea Factory and Museum.
