The flowers in the garden bloom during the month of June and give the garden a colorful and lively look. You can take a walk through the garden, sit and relax by the lawns, and enjoy the view of the Doddabetta Peak in the background. The garden also has a Toda Tribal Hut, where you can learn about the indigenous people of Ooty.
Pykara Lake is a serene and beautiful lake located in the Pykara village near Ooty. The lake offers boating facilities and is surrounded by lush greenery and hills. The Pykara waterfall is located close to the lake and is a popular picnic spot. There are a small number of eateries near the lake where you can try some authentic Tamil Nadu cuisine.
Dolphin's Nose is a cliff located in Coonoor near Ooty. The viewpoint provides a panoramic view of the Nilgiri Hills and is named so because of its nose-like shape. You can trek to the spot from the parking area and enjoy the view. The Catherine Waterfall is located close to the viewpoint and is a great spot for nature lovers. You can also visit the tea gardens on the way and learn about the tea manufacturing process.
If you have some extra time, you can visit the Ooty Rose Garden, Wax World Museum, or the Toy Train Ride. If you have less time, you can skip some of the above-mentioned places or choose to spend less time there.
