If you have more time, you could add a visit to Pykara Lake or the Dolphin's Nose viewpoint. If you have less time, we would recommend skipping a visit to Avalanche Lake as it is situated a fair distance from Ooty. Also, it is important to carry comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a sufficient amount of water as you will be spending a fair amount of time outdoors.
