Start your trip with a visit to the Neer Garh Waterfall. This picturesque waterfall is situated in the midst of hills and forests, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. You can take a dip in the natural pool below the waterfall and enjoy the view from the top of the hill. The waterfall is open from 8 am to 6 pm, so make sure you plan your day accordingly.
On your second day, explore the Rajaji National Park. It is one of the most diverse wildlife sanctuaries in India, home to a variety of animals like tigers, elephants, leopards, and more. You can take a jeep safari into the park and spot the wildlife in their natural habitat. The park opens at 6 am and closes at 6 pm, and entry fees vary according to the vehicle type.
If you have more time, you can also visit the Beatles Ashram, where the famous band stayed in the late 1960s and created some of their best music. You can take a guided tour of the ashram and learn more about their stay. However, it is closed on Thursdays. If you have less time, you can skip the Rajaji National Park and explore the Triveni Ghat instead, which is a popular bathing ghat on the banks of the Ganges.
