Day 1: Golden Temple
  • Morning: Begin your day by visiting the magnificent Golden Temple, one of the most important religious sites in Sikhism.
  • Afternoon: Head to Jallianwala Bagh, a public garden and memorial site, which commemorates the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919.
  • Evening: Witness the 'Wagah Border Ceremony', a daily military practice where the flags of India and Pakistan are brought down. Highly recommended to witness this amazing performance that marks the end of the day.
Day 2: Culture and Cuisine
  • Morning: Start your day by exploring the rich cultural history of Amritsar by visiting the Partition Museum which brings the stories of Partition alive.
  • Afternoon: Treat yourself to some delicious food at the Amritsar food street which serves authentic Punjabi cuisine. Make sure to try out the famous stuffed Kulchas, Chole Bhatoore, and Lassi.
  • Evening: End your trip by visiting Durgiana Temple, a beautiful hindu temple which has a resemblance to Golden temple.
