Fernhill Palace was once the summer palace of the Maharaja of Mysore and now is turned into a palace hotel. The palace has charming architecture and a beautiful garden.
Doddabetta Peak is the highest peak in the Nilgiris and offers a breathtaking view. There is a telescope house at the top of the peak where you can get a closer view of the surrounding valley.
Ooty Lake is a man-made lake that is a popular spot for boating. You can also find a mini-train and a garden near the lake where you can spend time with your family.
If you have more time, you can visit the Botanical Gardens or the Tea Museum. If you have less time, you can skip the Doddabetta Peak and spend more time at the Ooty Lake. Also, carry warm clothes as it can be chilly in the evenings during July.
