3-Day Lisbon City Experience in September 2023
Day 1: Exploring Lisbon
- Morning: Start off the day by visiting the iconic Belem Tower and enjoying a traditional Portuguese pastel de nata at the nearby Pasteis de Belem bakery.
- Afternoon: Explore the historic Alfama neighborhood and visit the Lisbon Cathedral and the National Pantheon. Take a tram ride up to the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte for stunning views of the city.
- Evening: Dine at a traditional Portuguese restaurant in the Bairro Alto neighborhood and enjoy a lively night out at one of the many bars or fado houses.
Day 2: Day trip to Sintra and Cascais
- Morning: Take a train to Sintra and visit the colorful Pena Palace and the beautiful gardens of Quinta da Regaleira.
- Afternoon: Head to the coastal town of Cascais and explore the beach and the charming town center.
- Evening: Return to Lisbon and dine at one of the many seafood restaurants in the trendy Cais do Sodre neighborhood.
Day 3: Modern Lisbon and Belém
- Morning: Visit the modern Parque das Nações neighborhood, home to the Oceanario de Lisboa and the Vasco da Gama Bridge.
- Afternoon: Head back to Belem and visit the stunning Jeronimos Monastery and the nearby Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT).
- Evening: Watch the sunset from the rooftop bar of Park bar in Bairro Alto.
