Hyderabad 3-Day Itinerary for May 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    20 minutes (6.3 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    Charminar is a 16th-century mosque located in the old city of Hyderabad. The iconic structure is surrounded by a bustling bazaar selling traditional bangles, pearls, and clothing. You can climb up to one of the minarets for a panoramic view of the city. Make sure to try the famous Hyderabadi biryani at one of the nearby restaurants.

  2. Day 2: Golconda Fort
    30 minutes (10 km) from Charminar

    Golconda Fort is a grand citadel built in the 16th century. The fort complex has numerous structures, including mosques, tombs, and palaces. The most impressive feature is the acoustic system, where a clap at the entrance can be heard at the highest point of the fort, over a kilometer away. A light and sound show is also available to showcase the fort's history.

  3. Day 3: Ramoji Film City
    50 minutes (28 km) from Golconda Fort

    Ramoji Film City is a large film studio and theme park. The studio complex has various sets, including replicas of the Mughal and British-era architecture. You can go on a guided tour to see behind the scenes of film making, enjoy live shows and amusement park rides. There are also numerous food and shopping outlets available.
