  1. Day 1: Visit Abbey Falls
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Madikeri

    Abbey Falls is a must-visit attraction in Coorg, especially during monsoon season when the waterfall is at its full flow. The falls are located amidst dense coffee plantations and offer a breathtaking view of the surroundings. You can take a short hike to the falls and enjoy the mesmerizing view of water cascading down from a height of 70 feet. The falls are open from 9 am to 5 pm, and entry fee is INR 15 per person.

    Dubare Elephant Camp is an excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with elephants. You can watch elephants being bathed and fed, take an elephant ride, and learn about their behavior and habitat. The camp is located on the banks of the Cauvery River and offers a serene atmosphere. You can also indulge in river rafting and coracle ride here. The camp is open from 8:30 am to 11 am and 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and entry fee is INR 30 per person.

  3. Day 3: Trek to Tadiandamol Peak
    2 hours 30 minutes (50 miles) from Dubare Elephant Camp

    Tadiandamol Peak, the highest peak in Coorg, is a popular trekking destination for adventure enthusiasts. The trek offers a beautiful view of the Western Ghats and is surrounded by lush green forests. The trek is moderately challenging and takes around 4-5 hours to complete. It is advisable to start early in the morning to avoid the scorching heat. You can also camp near the peak and enjoy the starry sky at night.
