  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

    Gaurikund is a small village situated on the banks of Mandakini River. It is believed that Goddess Parvati meditated here to win the heart of Lord Shiva. The village is surrounded by lush green forests and snow-capped mountains, which makes it a perfect spot for nature lovers. You can take a dip in the hot water springs in Gaurikund, which are believed to have medicinal properties. The place is also the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath Temple, which is about 14 km uphill trek from here.
