At Dubare Elephant Camp, you can learn about elephant conservation, bathe and feed elephants, and go for an elephant ride. Later, head to Nisargadhama - an island formed by the river Kaveri, where you can enjoy boating, elephant rides, and more.
Raja's Seat is a garden with a breathtaking view of the valley and mountains, perfect for watching the sunrise/sunset. In the afternoon, head to the Mandalpatti viewpoint, known for its stunning panoramic views and off-road jeep ride experience.
Coorg doesn't have an airport, the nearest airport is the Mysore Airport (MYQ) which is approximately 120 km away. You can book a taxi or take a bus from the airport to Coorg. Once in Coorg, it's best to rent a car or motorbike to get around as public buses and auto-rickshaws are limited.
A car rental costs around INR 2500-3000 per day whereas a motorbike can be rented for INR 500-1000 per day. You can book a taxi for a day starting from INR 2000 depending on your itinerary.
If you have extra days, you can add a visit to the Bylakuppe Tibetan settlement, the Nagarhole National Park, the Madikeri Fort, and the Omkareshwara Temple.
